Anil Ravipudi Likely to Drop Bheems for Next Film

Ace director Anil Ravipudi is currently riding a strong wave with back-to-back successes and a solid box office track record. While he is quietly working on the script of his next film starring Venkatesh Daggubati and Kalyan Ram, an interesting development regarding the film’s music department is grabbing attention.

For his last two films, Ravipudi collaborated with Bheems Ceciroleo, and the combination delivered commercially successful songs that significantly boosted the films’ reach. However, reports now suggest that this successful combo might not continue for the upcoming project.

The primary concern appears to be creative satisfaction. While the songs worked well, the background score of their recent outing reportedly didn’t fully meet Ravipudi’s expectations. At the same time, Bheems hasn’t been in the smoothest phase lately. His work in Funky starring Vishwak Sen received mixed feedback, and even in Dacoit, the background score was reportedly handled by another composer at the last minute, who is now earning appreciation. Apart from the song “Rubaru,” the album didn’t create much impact.

On the financial side, Bheems’ remuneration has reportedly seen a sharp rise. From his earlier collaborations with Ravipudi to now, his market value has increased significantly, with reports suggesting he is quoting close to ₹4 crore. This, combined with partial creative dissatisfaction, seems to have made the director reconsider the partnership.

Buzz indicates that the team has already initiated talks with a Tamil composer, who is said to be quoting nearly ₹1 crore less and is known for his consistency and strong background scores. However, nothing has been finalized yet.

Known for trusting his instincts, Anil Ravipudi prioritizes output over established combinations. So, the final call will likely depend on who best aligns with his vision for the film rather than past collaborations.
