According to grapevine, maverick director Ram Gopal Varma is contemplating to don the grease paint. Buzz is that Varma is going to make his acting debut in his next film “Spot”. Touted to be a film on the killing episode of Obul Reddy in Raktha Charitra, Spot is expected to show “new angle” of Rayalaseema Faction.
Already Varma’s “Audio Poster” of Spot said to have grabbed many eyeballs. It may be recalled that RGV earlier crooned for films like Raktha Charitra, The Attacks of 26/11 and also lent his voice for several films, but always stood behind the camera.
Although time and again Varma made it clear that he is “afraid of facing camera” and he doesn’t “suit” camera so turning into actor was “out of question”, RGV said to be now gearing up to break his own assumption with Spot and going to face camera for the first-time. If it does, this itself is big news than anything else.
