After Avika Ghor, who shot to fame with Balika Vadhu (Chinnari Pellikoturu) sizzled in Uyyala Jampala, one more TV actress makes her debut into Tollywood. Noted Hindi TV actress Ankita Sharma, of Life Ok’s serial Amrit Manthan fame, is the latest entrant in T-town.
Ankita has been cast opposite Prince in an upcoming Telugu film. Yet-to-be-titled, it is directed by Sri Chand. Said to be a romantic thriller, the movie goes onto floors from February 1. Makers are planning to wrap the film by April and likely to release in May.
Hindi TV actresses believing that T-town is promising for newcomers and a short-cut entry to Bollywood. Let’s see how many Telly actresses turn heroines in days to come.
