The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has approved the budget ordinance of Andhra Pradesh. The ministers of Andhra Pradesh have recently approved the vote-on-account budget for the next three months, i.e, from April to June in the form of an ordinance.
The AP Budget Ordinance was drafted for a period of three months. The budget of Andhra Pradesh ranges from Rs 80,000 crore to Rs 90,000 crore.
The total budget will be used for the salaries of government employees and for the implementation of Navratna schemes in the state.
For the second consecutive year, the budget was formulated in the form of an ordinance. AP assembly sessions are likely to be held in the second or third week of April. The government will approve the full budget in the upcoming assembly sessions.
