
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will depart for Davos on Sunday to participate in the 2026 World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting. The four-day visit, scheduled until January 23, will include participation in 36 official programs, global discussions, and high-level meetings with international business leaders, investors, and government representatives.
On the first day, the Chief Minister will travel from Vijayawada to Delhi and onward to Zurich, where he will meet the Indian Ambassador to Switzerland and interact with industry leaders. He will also address the Telugu diaspora in an event organized by the Indian Embassy, with participants from 20 countries, highlighting Andhra Pradesh’s development vision.
From Zurich, he will proceed by road to Davos, where he will meet ministers and officials from the UAE and other nations, as well as Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran, accompanied by IT Minister Nara Lokesh. Special interviews with international media outlets are also scheduled.
During the summit, Naidu will attend meetings with global company heads including IBM CEO Arvind Krishna, Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian, Nvidia VP Kalista Redmond, Maersk CEO Vincent Clerc, and JSW Group Chairman Sajjan Jindal. He will participate in panel discussions, round tables, and sessions on innovation, energy transition, entrepreneurship, industrial growth, artificial intelligence, climate finance, and infrastructure development.
Overall, the Chief Minister is expected to attend three government-to-government meetings, sixteen one-on-one business discussions, nine round table sessions, and multiple plenary events. He will return to Hyderabad on the morning of January 23.
