YSRCP supremo and the Chief Minister of the Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan has been highly criticized by the political and economic analysts for his recent decisions.
It is known that the center has decided to grant an additional loan of Rs.2,500cr for the state government but in return, the state has to implement some urban reforms that were brought in by the center which also includes fitting meters to farm motors.
So, the thing is, welcoming these reforms will induce some taxes on the AP people especially on the ones who live in urban areas that too with exponential raise every year on various things.
In fact, these reforms are designated for cities but AP has no such capacity in its geography except for Vijayawada and Vizag. The other district headquarters which are deemed as cities most follow rural lifestyle in major portions.
Yet, the AP government decided to burden the people unable to withstand the pressure of the increasing debts and their desperation to acquire more loans from the center. So bottom line – Freebies, we all know… Poor administration, no one knows.
