The grand pre-release event of Dacoit was held on a grand scale, with the film generating strong buzz ahead of its release on April 10. The film stars Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles, is directed by Shanil Deo, and is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda under the Annapurna Studios presentation. With its teaser, trailer, and songs already receiving a strong response, expectations for the film are high.

Veteran actor Venkatesh Daggubati attended the event as the chief guest and shared heartfelt words about the team and the film. He said he was happy to be present not just for Supriya, but also for his “favourite uncle Surendra,” praising the passion behind the project. He appreciated the entire team for working with the clear intention of delivering a big hit.

Venkatesh also recalled noticing Adivi Sesh’s talent early in his career and expressed confidence in his growth as an actor. He stated that Dacoit has all the elements to become a blockbuster without any doubt. He further praised Mrunal Thakur, saying this film could turn out to be one of her standout performances, and appreciated the fresh blend of romance and action in the story.

The film also features Anurag Kashyap in a key role, adding further weight to the cast ensemble.
