Contrary to the reports that Andhra Pradesh government has taken a back step and called off its police forces from Hyderabad as per the Governor’s advice, the latest is that government of AP stated that there is no truth in those reports. Calling them as untrue, Labour & Employment Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu made it clear that AP police are very much in Hyderabad and stated that there’s no change in the plan.
Briefing the press on Wednesday, K Atchannaidu said, “AP police forces are in Hyderabad. Since we don’t have confidence on the security of our leaders, we decided to use our own police force. There’s no change in this development. We’re planning to establish AP police stations in Hyderabad. We’re scouting for perfect locations as well.”
Atchannaidu further said that Telangana government has conspired against government of AP and trying to halt the development works in the new state. He stated that AP government has substantial evidence against government of Telangana that it has tapped the phones of AP leaders, officials.
