Prior to bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, those who opposed the division stated that Andhra Pradesh will be in a disadvantageous position vis a vis Telangana in turns of revenue.
They said if Hyderabad is bestowed to Telangana, Andhra Pradesh will be at severe disadvantage. However in a shocker it is coming out that the state of Andhra Pradesh is earning more revenue than Telangana.
Revenue Officials who met Chandra Babu in Hyderabad for a review meeting informed that in the second quarter, AP earned more revenues than Telangana state. Chandra Babu has been conducting the review for more than four hours. He asked officials to findout more revenue generating options in the state.
