Just a day ahead of ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ release, Superstar Mahesh Babu received a shock. Jai Andhra Pradesh Yujana Porata Samithi (JAPYPS) has staged a protest at Mahesh’s residence in Hyderabad and demanded to spell out his stand on AP capital, Amaravati.
There has been a demand from peoples and activists who are agitating against AP capital change. This was totally unexpected and a sudden protest that the agitators showed up. But thankfully the protest did not turn that big as the police stepped into action and cleared the mob.
The protesters said all the Telugu heroes should come out and support Amaravati as the capital of AP, if not they threatened to boycott the films of the heroes. “From today, we will protest at every Telugu hero’s residence till January 19th. We demand their voice in the capital row,” said a leader.
Listing out their demands, JAPYPS said Amaravati should remain as capital while High Court should move to Kurnool but benches of HC should be set up in Amaravati and Vizag.
