Shalini Pandey who swooned youth with her hotness quotient in Arjun Reddy is all set for her big Bollywood debut. As broke out by us, Shalini is going to romance Bollywood hearthrob Ranveer Singh and she is going to be launched by prestigious Yash Raj Films. Interesting development is that Shalini Pandey is turning into a Gujju for this film where she plays a conventional Gujarati girl whereas Ranveer Singh plays title role Jayeshbhai – a Gujarati businessman.
However, inside news is that Shalini’s selection for the role is not easy. Apparently, Shalini had given screen tests and taken part in audition tests before getting finalized for the female lead opposite Ranveer. The makers wanted a fresh face and hence they have done screentests and finally opted for Shalini. Producer Aditya Chopra was said to be impressed with Shalini’s screentests and audition tests. Pleased with her prowess and her screen presence, Aditya Chopra has instantly decided to launch Shalini in Bollywood. This is a Golden chance for Shalini to make a mark in Hindi. Currently, she is doing reasonably well in Telugu and Tamil films.
Presently, Shalini is playing a Turkish Indian girl in Jwala, a Telugu-Tamil bilingual and a significant role in Anushka Shetty and Madhavan-starrer multilingual film Nishabdam. Let’s see whether Shalini will turn heads in Bollywood as well or not.
