Andhra Pradesh Minister for Roads and Buildings Siddha Raghava Rao received shock when a local court issued arrest warrant against him along with some other TDP leaders in connection to a criminal case. Court took serious note of Minister Siddha Raghava Rao for absconding from the court along with others by not attending the court hearing in connection with the criminal case.
Court, fed up with the minister Siddha Raghava Rao and others for absenting from numerous hearings continuously in a sheer contempt of court issued arrest warrant against him. Court took this decision after hearing the criminal case against Sidda Raghava Rao and his supporters who sat on a dharna in front of the collectorate in 2009.
Second Additional Magistrate issued arrest warrant against the minister and his supporters for not appearing in front of the court after repeated summons.
