Teja Sajja’s Mirai: Lord Ram Role Clarified
Teja Sajja’s upcoming film Mirai is set for a grand release on September 12, likely as a solo release. Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, the film stars Teja Sajja alongside Manchu Manoj, Jayaram, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Saran, and several others in pivotal roles. A character portraying Lord Sri Ram plays a crucial part in the film’s storyline.
During a recent press interaction in Chennai, Teja addressed speculations about who played Lord Ram in the movie. Rumors suggested that Superstar Mahesh Babu had taken on the role, but Teja clarified that while it would have been great if Mahesh had played the part, he did not.
Reports also indicate that the team created the Lord Ram character using AI, similar to how the makers of HanuMan designed the Lord Hanuman character in that film. Earlier, HanuMan director Prashanth Varma and Bollywood casting director Mukesh Chhabra had expressed interest in seeing Mahesh Babu portray Lord Sri Ram. There were even rumors that Mahesh was approached for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, but the role ultimately went to Ranbir Kapoor.
On the professional front, Mahesh Babu is currently working on his next film under the direction of SS Rajamouli.
