Athiloka Sundari Sridevi, who is in the US with her family, was due to come back to India today. But the actress’s return has been delayed, because she had a fall and has injured her right knee.
She has been advised to go for an MRI and her return plans will now depend on the scan results. As per reports, her injury is not severe. In the meantime, Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor has big plans for Sri’s 50th birthday on August 13. But the injury may put a slight dampener on his plans.
Whether Sri is able to kick off her shoes and dance, or, she will blow the candles out sitting on a chair, will depend on how quickly her knee recovers. Sridevi’s last movie ‘English Vinglish’ which was a comeback film for the actress was a runaway hit and she is choosy of films in her second innings.
