Till date, the most talked about happening in tinsel town is the way Attariniki Daredi is shattering records when it comes to ringing registers at box office. But now, situation has changed all of a sudden and the political crisis in Andhra Pradesh will change fate of many movies, including AD.
Actually Attarintiki Daredi amassed around 51 crores share in its first week of successful run at Box Office. To stand as an all-time highest collecting (shares) movie in Tollywood, Pawan’s flick should surpass four more movies. They are Magadheera, Gabbar Singh, Seethamma Vaakitlo and Dookudu. It all depends on how well the movie performs in its second week at box office. But half of revenue will be affected for next couple of days as AP NGOs and political parties in Seemandhra region have called for 2-3 days of bandh. At some places, theatres are shut down already and situation in remaining places is to be known. AD will not have problems with collections in Telangana, Tamilnadu, Karnataka and overseas areas, but Seemandhra will be a tough nut for the coming weeks.
Already a dozen of Ministers, MLAs and MPs are offering resignations and many will stand in line for sure. In that case, protests will be intensified in all districts of Seemandhra, thereby first affecting the prospects of movies running in theatres. The more people protest, the more Pawan’s flick is going to be affected. Let us see what happens.
