It was widely speculated that maverick director Puri Jagannadh would be directing Megastar Chiranjeevi’s prestigious 150th film. Puri has also prepared a script and titled it as ‘Auto Johnny’. However, the project has not got materialized.
On the other hand, Mega Power Star Ram Charan has recently confirmed that Tamil blockbuster ‘Kaththi’ would be remaking with his father as the hero in the combo of top director VV Vinayak.
In the meanwhile, Puri Jagannadh has reportedly narrated ‘Auto Johnny’ script’ to Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja and got it okayed from the star. The movie is likely to go on sets soon. Ravi Teja’s latest offing ‘Bengal Tiger’ is running successfully at the moment. Directed by Sampath Nandi the movie has Tamannah and Rashi Khanna as female leads.
