Former India cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin is yet again in news. This time, the news isn’t connected to either cricket or politics but something about his personal. As per few media reports, Azhar married for third time to his long time foreign friend Shannon Marie. Though they both are claimed to be good friends from sometime, now the news officially quoted by a Mumbai agency is creating ripples.
Into the marital past, Azharuddin first married Naureen and had two sons. While one of them Ayazuddin died in a road accident, Asaduddin is a cricket player. After divorcing Naureen in 1996, he married actor cum model Sangita Bijilani and again separated from her in 2010. Now, this is third time if Azhar’s relation is official.
Currently, Bollywood is making a biopic on the life of former India cricket team captain wherein Emran Hashmi is playing the title role of ‘Azhar.’ After getting involved in a cricket betting case, Azhar’s career was closed although court lifted the ban on him in 2012. As of now, Azhar denied his third marriage news but Shannon is yet to react.
