SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali on Sunday, the 24th day after its release had created history. The movie had crossed more than 100 Crore share only from AP and Nizam becoming the first film to achieve this feat.
Interestingly, before Baahubali there is no Telugu film which even crossed 70 Crore share in both the Telugu states. Baahubali is the first ever film in the 70 Crore, 80 Crore and 80 Crore share clubs. Unless Baahubali-2 breaks it, these records will stay for a long time.
Absence of notable films at the box office is helping the movie at the box office. The movie is doing good in the weekends. We will have to see if Srimanthudu releasing on August 7th will stop the Baahubali juggernaut.
