Baahubali Music Copied From Old Telugu Film?

Epic series of Baahubali has taken Telugu Film Industry to the next level without any doubts. Not only the cast but also the technicians who worked hard for the movie bagged critical acclaim across the country. Music director M.M.Keeravani is also one of them.

Known as MM Kreem to Bollywood music lovers, his astounding music in Baahubali has given goosebumps. Especially his outstanding background score won accolades and the recently released Original Sound Track (OST) is also getting attention for the same. However, just like any other composers, it seems like ever Keeravani has some secret inspirations.

Reports are commenting that Keeravani took the music of an old Telugu film and used it’s modified version for Baahubali. A video is doing rounds on the net comparing the tunes of Baahubali and Akkineni Nageswara Rao’s 1949 released film Keelu Gurram music composed by legendary singer Ghantasala.  This video took the internet by storm shocking all the fans of Baahubali music.

Amidst all the copy allegations on many movies these days, one wonders if Tollywood is struggling to come up with something original. From Baahubali scenes to Agnyaathavasi story, Okka Kshanam’s plot to Thaman’s tunes, nothing is getting exempted from these allegations and unfortunately most of the times it is standing true.
