On the occasion of Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan’s meeting with AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada today, the former gave his consent to become the state’s brand ambassador for Jeevandan programme.
Jeevandan is an initiative which promotes Organ Donation. When Chandrababu Naidu requested Pawan to promote the noble initiative in the truncated state, the actor-turned-politician has reportedly readily given his consent. Pawan will create awareness among Telugu people about organ donation as part of his services to the Jeevandan programme.
During the meet, which was also taken part by a team of doctors from Harvard University, the Uddhanam issue was discussed. Naidu reportedly appreciated Pawan Kalyan for bringing the issue of chronic kidney disorder to the fore. The Chief Minister promised to consider all the recommendations made by the Harvard doctors for finding a permanent solution to the deadly disease.
The specialists from Harvard apprised the CM about their plan of conducting a thorough research in Uttarandhra to find more better solutions and requested him to arrange the special equipment required, to which the CM responded positively.
