Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is expected to meet World’s most powerful person US President Barack Obama on Sunday. Mr Naidu is special invitee to a dinner event hosted by President Pranab Mukherjee at Raj Bhavan tonight. According to reports, Rashtrapati Bhavan sent invitation to Mr Naidu welcoming for the do. Chandrababu, who will be returning to Hyderabad from Davos of Switzerland where he attended World Economic Forum, is going to fly to New Delhi to attend the ‘Dinner with Obama’.
TDP sources confirmed the receipt of invitation from RB Bhavan and stated that Babu would be meeting both Barack Obama and US first lady Michelle Obama. After wrapping up itinerary for the day, the US president couple will visit Rashtrapati Bhavan and going to spend quality time. After the formal meeting, Pranab Mukherjee will host multi-cuisine multi-dish posh dinner to the guests. Although CMs of other states were invited, reports have it that Chandrababu would be meeting with Obama.
Considering Naidu’s track-record of conducting then US President Bill Clinton’s visit to Hyderabad successfully and making Clinton’s address to Information Technology leaders huge success, team Obama agreed for Naidu’s participation. While TDP leaders are delighted over the move, AP Government is making preparations for Chandrababu’s brief discussion with Obama on investments in the new state of AP.
