We have read about the gradual fuel hike in last few months and to keep a control on it, union government is looking to bring a new policy that would ease things for consumers.
Underlining the importance of safety while driving, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday passed orders to all fuel stations in state to decline petrol and diesel from tomorrow – if two wheelers fail to wear helmet and 4-wheelers fail to wear seat belt while driving. The new orders passed by state government will come into effect from Thursday, announced CMO to the media.

– Released 10 Crore funds for equipment required for highway safety.
– Enhancing accountability in Police and Transport department.

– Establishment of rehabilitation centers to take care of those affected due to road accidents.
– Vehicles such as 108 which are used for road-safety will be geo-tagged and it will notify the accident information to all near by vehicles.
– Speed governance to all school buses and other passenger vehicles in state.
– CM advised a specially designed mobile application to instantly notify the accident information to near by public and private hospitals.
– Finally, appreciated the efforts of state police & transport departments for good amount of depreciation in road accidents in state.
