The shooting of director SS Rajamouli’s “Bahubali: The Conclusion” (Baahubali 2) was suspended for a month, and according to reports, the reason for the break was the soaring temperatures.According to sources, the director was busy shooting the film but the heat started to adversely affect the people on set. Rajamouli was trying to finish certain portions quickly but the heat did not allow the team to work efficiently. In the end, the ace director was forced to give the entire team a month-long break from the shoot.
The team will now relax during the peak summer and come back to sets when the temperature hopefully dips. Currently, the temperature there is around 45 degrees celsius. However, the reports about suspending the shooting of Bahubali 2 have not gone well with Shobu Yarlagadda, who took to his Twitter handle on April 17 to clear the air.The producer tweeted, “.@BaahubaliMovie has shooting break in May n it was planned much earlier. Post prod. training n set work will continue for June schedule.”
Several people in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have died of sunstroke because of the scorching heat. The state governments have advised people to keep themselves hydrated and remain indoors during the peak hours of the day.The makers of “Bahubali: The Conclusion” recently revealed that the second installment of “Bahubali” will be released in theatres around the world on April 14, 2017.
