Nandamuri Balakrishna, renowned actor and MLA from Hindupur, attended the prestigious Padma Awards ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where he was honored with the Padma Bhushan for his significant contributions to the arts. Balakrishna, who has acted in over 100 films, was accompanied by his family at the event. He proudly wore a traditional Panche Kattu, representing Telugu culture at the grand occasion in Delhi.
During the ceremony, his son Mokshagna made a public appearance, looking notably thinner than before, and his face seemed to have lost some of its previous charm. Balakrishna’s daughters and their respective husbands, Bharath and Lokesh, also attended the ceremony dressed in traditional attire.
The Padma Awards, one of the highest civilian honors in India, are presented annually by the President of India at a ceremonial function held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. This year, the awards recognized individuals from various fields, including arts, literature, and public service.
