Actress Malavika Mohanan is grabbing attention after sharing a striking new picture on her Instagram, captioned, “That’s the vibe,” with tags for Prabhas and The Raja Saab. In the photo, Malavika stands by the sea with a historic stone structure in the background, exuding energy and charm ahead of her upcoming release.

Malavika is making headlines as she gears up for her Telugu debut in The Raja Saab, starring opposite Prabhas. The film is slated to release in theatres on January 9, coinciding with the Sankranti festival season.

Speaking about her journey to this film, Malavika revealed that she was initially close to being part of Salaar. After her film Master, she received a call to meet director Prashanth Neel for a project with Prabhas. During a meeting in Bengaluru, the director took some casual photographs of her in both Indian and western styles. Though this initial opportunity didn’t move forward, she remained hopeful.

Months later, Malavika got another unexpected call—this time for a different Prabhas project, which turned out to be The Raja Saab. Looking back, she believes everything happened for a reason and feels destiny shaped her Telugu debut perfectly.

At the pre-release event, Malavika spoke warmly about working with Prabhas, playfully referring to him by fan-loved nicknames before calling him “Raja Saab” herself. She also expressed gratitude, calling him one of the sweetest co-stars she has ever worked with. Prabhas reciprocated the appreciation, praising her presence and charm on stage.

With the film’s release around the corner, fans are eagerly awaiting to see this dynamic pairing on the big screen.
