As ‘lead’ is found, the two-minutes cookable and ultimately tasty Maggi noodles are banned a while back. With Courts finding that porn sites are actually impacting youths’ mindset with unwanted thoughts, a special IT act is used to ban nearly 850 porn websites. And most needful and helpful tool for youths, the Cigarette got much costlier, leaving them with no option than to drink ‘chai’ at canteens rather smoking a puff. Sit back and relax, if you consider that the Government is cutting out the luxuries you have in the form of Maggi, Porn and Cigarettes.
Hardly it takes 10 mins for mothers to cook Idlis and 10 more minutes more to make dosas. But we’re losing that quick touch of home made food with the advent of these ‘tasty’ ‘noodles’. Even if ‘lead’ is there or not, everyone got accustomed to eating these ready-made food because it takes less money, less hardships in cooking. But it costs you more money than a regular breakfast prepared by mom. By banning these noodles, no doubt youths got closer to traditional Indian breakfasts. They are more dependent on Idly, Vada, Samosas and Upma. If someone feels there is more oil or fat content in these foods, don’t make such complaints, walk in the park for 20 minutes daily. Or do yoga asnas, as said by our Prime Minister Modi.
How to control the porn urges now? Wait, who asked you to develop such an urge to watch more and more porn everyday? Not many agree, especially filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, porn is the actual spoiler of young minds. Needless to say, availability of smart phone sand cheaper 3G internet services brought kids close to viewing porn on mobile phones itself. 50% of child sex-abusers stated that they got inspired after watching a porn clip. So, banning porn seems to be good move then. There are many entertaining stuff than porn on internet, so youths will now get diverted to those useful stuff now.
Okay, we can’t afford to buy cigarettes now, because Modi government has upped the prices by leaps and bounds. Why would you panic anyway when you’re not spending money and buying cancer? On every cigarette pack it is written that smoking is injurious to health but none cared the warning anytime, only saying that they can’t live without sucking a puff. However when the prices are hiked, youths who can’t afford to buy are able to live without those puffs. In a way, price rise helped many youths leave the habit.
All these bans are no doubt some good signs of progression, when it comes to Indian youths. There are other bans like, ban on scarves in colleges, ban on cow meat in Maharashtra and others, which are socio-political stuff and youths are no way connected to them. They want to own the future, re-write it and re-invent their growth curve. Go ahead youths!!
