Producer and Telangana Congress leader Bandla Ganesh is set to undertake a long Maha Padayatra from Shadnagar to Tirumala as an act of devotion and gratitude. The spiritual journey is linked to a vow he made during a critical phase in Andhra Pradesh politics.
When former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was arrested in the Skill Development case under the previous YSR Congress Party government, Bandla Ganesh prayed to Lord Venkateswara for Naidu’s release without any blemish to his reputation. With Naidu now released and the matter no longer casting a shadow on his image, Bandla Ganesh has decided to fulfill his vow.
The Maha Padayatra will commence on the 19th of this month from Bandla Ganesh’s residence in Shadnagar. He will walk the entire distance to Tirumala, where he will offer prayers and have darshan of Lord Venkateswara.
According to sources, Bandla Ganesh is planning a grand launch for the padayatra, with a large-scale event marking the beginning of the journey. The initiative is expected to attract attention not only for its deep spiritual significance but also for the sheer distance and commitment involved in the walk.
