January 13th, 14th and 15th. These three dates mark the release of three big movies, Nannaku Prematho, Dictator and Soggade Chinni Nayana respectively. Interestingly the heroes of these three films are from three big families, of course star kids, who always enjoyed the patron cine lovers have towards their dads.
Earlier it was considered that if films release on festival time, then there will be huge first day collections. Even now, collections are there, but surprisingly theatres are not getting available. In many towns and villages, exhibitors are interested only in hit films but not all.
Though they manage the release of one of these three films in their theatres, a week later they will screen only the best among them. Pray cinema-god that all the three will turn blockbusters, which otherwise distributors who invested heavily on these films will be at loss.
Nannaku Prematho business will be more than 55-60 crores of theatrical rights, while Dictator might touch 37-40 crores and Soggade Chinni Nayana for 25 crores.
Guess who will be at huge loss if a film among them these three fails. Being big families heroes, fan base is strong, but due to hefty competition from other movies like Krishnashtami and Express Raja, there is no option than scoring a hit.
