Generally, it takes many things for heroes to sign a next after a blockbuster and director’s need proper story to impress big stars after scoring a big hit, but heroines get big projects pretty easily compared to others.
One such heroine is model Ritu Varma who has shot to fame with Miss Hyderabad contest and then bagged few character roles in Telugu films before becoming a lead heroine with Pelli Choopulu. As that beautiful, independent thinking bride from the film, she impressed Telugu audiences a lot. But where is her next Telugu film?
Quite surprisingly, Ritu hasn’t signed even one film in Telugu industry after being part of that history-creating film. Other than Nikhil’s Kesava, she’s not seen in any Telugu film but signed nearly three Tamil films which kept her busy.
Gautham Menon’s ‘Dhurva Natchatriam’ with Vikram will see Ritu as the main lead. At the same time Dulquer Salman’s upcoming Tamil film ‘Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal’ also features the Pelli Choopulu actress as the leading lady. She’s playing the lead in another Tamil film ‘China’ too.
While all these films are also likely to release in Telugu through dubbed versions, why this beautiful bride ditched straight Telugu films for Tamil ones? Over to you Ritu!!
