In an insult to India and utter disregard to feelings and sentiments of people, An American based Beer Company projected Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi as its Brand Ambassador. A beer flavour was named after Mahatma Gandhi as Gandhi-Bot to gain more publicity.
NRI Indians protested vehemently and demanded unconditional apology from New England Beverages Company. They are getting ready for a legal battle for insulting the Indians and Mahatma Gandhi. They are demanding the company to immediately withdraw the brand.
NRIs also asked Indian Govt to look into the matter and take a strong stand. They are also demanding ban on the beer company.
