After the creation of Telangana, every party tried to take credit for itself. The Congress, TRS and the BJP along with TDP which claimed that their letter in support of Telangana was instrumental in the carving of a new state.
Anyhow, the merry-go-round seems all set to repeat once again! Pawan Kalyan has woken up from a slumber and posted a tweet expressing confidence that the BJP will keep its promise of giving special status to Andhra Pradesh.
The Congress on the other hand has started a ‘one crore signature’ campaign in support of a special status. Sonia Gandhi has written a second letter to Modi in this regard and the Congress politicians of Telangana said that they would support AP’s claim of a special status.
YS Jagan on the other hand has met Union Ministers and asked them for the same. BJP of course is the Party that promised special status in the first place and TDP currently is their ally.
Tomorrow, if AP indeed gets the special status, then each of the above will go to town claiming that AP got the special status only because of their efforts.
