Producer Bellamkonda Suresh is back in news. The latest is that he has lodged a cheating case against director G. Nageshwar Reddy in Banjara Hills police station. According to Suresh, director Nageshwar Reddy (of Dhenikaina Ready fame) has taken an advance of Rs 25 Lakh back in 2011 on commitment of directing a film for Suresh.
However, Nageshwar Reddy neither directed the film nor returned the advance of Rs 25 Lakh, alleged Suresh. Suresh has filed case with Banjara Hills police against Nageshwar Reddy accusing him of cheating and breaching contract. Based on the complaint, police registered a case against the director under IPC Section 420 for cheating, and 406 for criminal breach of trust.
Suresh was recently in news when Manchu Lakshmi and her team did a dharna in front of his house to repay the due amount. However, Suresh in retaliation alleged that Lakshmi’s brother Manoj and father Mohan Babu owe him money as they took advance from him. Both parties have lodged cases against one another and finally, Suresh paid off debts and cleared the issue.
