Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, who completes a decade in the film industry this year, is all set to enthrall audiences with his upcoming film Kishkindhapuri, releasing on September 12. At the film’s grand pre-release event held yesterday, the actor addressed the buzz around his recent viral statement.
Clarifying, he said, “My comment that I’d quit the industry if someone looked at their phone after the first 10 minutes was blown out of proportion. Why would I ever quit? I’ll be here till the end of my life. My only point was that people should give their full attention to movies without distractions.”
Speaking about the film, Sreenivas shared, “Kishkindhapuri is designed to both scare and entertain. Creating fear is an art, and director Kaushik has done it brilliantly. I believe he’ll reach greater heights with this film. Chetan Bharadwaj’s music will electrify theatres, keeping audiences hooked for two hours straight. This is a movie that will leave you completely satisfied.”
The actor also thanked producer Sahu Garapati for his support, adding that he looks forward to collaborating with him on a full-fledged commercial entertainer in the future.
When asked about the much-anticipated Rakshasudu 2, Sreenivas said, “Anupama and I gave you Rakshasudu, but Kishkindhapuri is on another level. After this release, people won’t ask about Rakshasudu 2 — they’ll be asking for Kishkindhapuri 2.”
The pre-release event was graced by several prominent names from the industry, including Anil Ravipudi, Buchi Babu Sana, and Sushmita Konidela, who came to extend their support.
