Akkineni Akhil’s highly anticipated movie, Lenin, has been under production for some time now. Directed by Murali Kishore Abburu, the film initially had Sree Leela on board as the female lead, and she had already completed a portion of the shoot. However, the latest buzz suggests that Sree Leela has opted out due to scheduling conflicts.
If reports are accurate, Bhagyashri Borse, who impressed audiences in Mr. Bachchan, will be stepping in as the new heroine. However, there’s yet to be an official confirmation from the makers.
Bhagyashri is also part of Dulquer Salmaan’s Kaantha and Ram Pothineni’s Andhra King Taluka, keeping her busy with a packed schedule.
The teaser for Lenin, released in April, received mixed reactions across the board. This rural action drama is being jointly produced by Sithara Entertainments and Annapurna Studios, with SS Thaman composing the music. Lenin will mark Akhil’s first theatrical release after his wedding, and fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of its release date.
