Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu is working overnight to get the new capital designed by Singapore Designers in a prestigious manner. However all his plans may suffer huge shock as Indian architects decided to block the foreign designer.
They are getting ready to challenge the utilization of Singapore designers services alleging that it is in violation of the Architects Act, which prohibits any unregistered foreign architect. Chandra Babu Naidu’s govt roped in Singapore Govt and its team of architects and designers for new capital design at Tullur.
Chennai based architect says, architects have to be registered with the Council of Architecture, the apex body of India since India donot have reciprocal registration with Singapore which makes those firms ineligible. Experts however say Delhi High Court ruled that the approval granted to the architects was against law.
