One of the most talked-about projects in recent times is the rumored big-budget fantasy film that director Trivikram Srinivas is said to be planning. The project is expected to be a VFX-heavy mythological entertainer and has reportedly been linked with star actor N. T. Rama Rao Jr. in the lead role.

Interestingly, Trivikram has primarily been known for his dialogue-driven commercial entertainers and has never directed a large-scale fantasy or VFX-based film before. Industry buzz suggests that the story could revolve around Kartikeya, also known as Murugan or Subramanya, the commander-in-chief of the devas in Hindu mythology.

Initially, there were reports that the ambitious project was being developed for Allu Arjun. However, due to his packed lineup following the success of Pushpa: The Rise, the film was said to have shifted to Jr NTR. Later, fresh speculation suggested that Allu Arjun might still take up the project if he manages to adjust his schedule, bringing the film back to the combination that delivered the blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

The ongoing speculation has created confusion among fans about who will eventually headline the film. Even producer Naga Vamsi has reportedly avoided giving clear answers regarding the project, adding to the uncertainty.

As of now, Trivikram has not officially confirmed that he is making a film based on the mythological tale of Lord Kartikeya or that it is inspired by the book God of War. The rumors gained momentum mainly after Jr NTR was spotted carrying a book related to the story during one of his airport appearances.
