Deepika, Rashmika To Draw Fancy Pay for Raaka?

Industry circles are abuzz with speculation over the hefty remunerations being quoted for the much-anticipated star-studded film Raaka, headlined by Allu Arjun. Mounted on a massive scale with several big names from Indian cinema, the project is already generating strong buzz, and the reported paychecks are equally staggering.
As per ongoing industry talk, Allu Arjun is reportedly commanding a staggering ₹175 crore for his role in the film. Bollywood star Deepika Padukone is said to be charging around ₹20–25 crore, while Rashmika Mandanna, who is rumored to be playing a character with grey or negative shades, is expected to earn approximately ₹5–7 crore.
A producer familiar with industry trends points out that such high remunerations are largely driven by pan-India market appeal. “Actors with nationwide recognition and strong box office pull naturally command higher fees compared to traditional regional film standards,” he explains.
Reportedly mounted on a budget exceeding ₹800 crore, Raaka is shaping up to be one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. The first-look poster, released on Allu Arjun’s 44th birthday, showcased him in a fierce, beast-like avatar, hinting at a larger-than-life cinematic experience.
The producer further notes that Telugu heroines have historically been paid comparatively lower than their Bollywood counterparts due to market dynamics, though the gap is gradually narrowing. Among current leading actresses such as Tamannaah Bhatia, Janhvi Kapoor, Sreeleela, Mrunal Thakur, and Shruti Haasan, remuneration reportedly ranges between ₹3–5 crore for Telugu films.
He also adds that Rashmika Mandanna enjoys a slight edge due to her recent pan-India successes, with her reported fee for Mysa being around ₹5 crore.
While these figures remain unconfirmed and based on industry speculation, they clearly highlight the massive scale and expectations surrounding Raaka, which is already emerging as one of the most talked-about upcoming projects in Indian cinema.
