No person in the world can survive without water. Now a days water is turning precious and many people due to non availability of clean and pure drinking water are purchasing water. In some areas some people are suffering from non availability of water.
Now many companies and scientists are conducting researches to purify waste water and recycle them for drinking uses. Many countries even tried desalination of sea water. Purifying water from waste is a technology used in space and is practiced by ISS for many years.
This method is difficult on earth but Microsoft CEO, Bill Gates feels this is possible and feasible. He was seen in a video drinking glass of water before it was passed from a machine filled with human waste to prove a point.
Janicki Bioenergy built the Omni Processor, an ingenious machine which can purify water from human waste. It not only purifies waste but also generates electricity. This technology will be helpful for countries where waste treatment plant is not available.
