‘Love Insurance Kompany’ Struggles to Create Buzz Ahead of Release

April 1, 2026

Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), the upcoming film of Pradeep Ranganathan, is gearing up for release, but the buzz around it remains underwhelming despite recent promotions.

Following the success of films like Love Today, Dragon, and Dude, expectations were high for this project. The film was initially expected to release earlier but has now been scheduled for April 10, with the Telugu teaser released recently.

However, the teaser has received a lukewarm response. One of the major drawbacks appears to be the dubbing. Pradeep has used his own voice for the Telugu version, which feels unfamiliar to many viewers. Additionally, Krithi Shetty’s dubbing voice has also been changed, making the film feel more like a routine dubbed project rather than carrying the appeal of his earlier releases.

In terms of content, the futuristic concept showcased in the teaser hasn’t fully connected with the audience. The narrative presentation feels uneven, and even the introduction of the antagonist played by S. J. Suryah doesn’t create the expected intrigue. Kriti Shetty’s character, Dheema, is shown defining relationships on her own terms, avoiding labels like situationship or textationship, which adds a modern touch but hasn’t strongly resonated yet.

The film also features a supporting cast including Yogi Babu, Seeman, Gouri Kishan, Shah Ra, and Malavika. Directed by Vignesh Shivan, the movie has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. It is produced by Nayanthara, along with S. S. Lalit Kumar and L. K. Vishnu Kumar.

With just days left for release, the film is currently running on low buzz. It remains to be seen whether Love Insurance Kompany can surprise audiences in theatres and live up to expectations.
