Raising his dissent against BJP which denied Special Category Status to the successor state of Andhra Pradesh, actor Shivaji has given a call to rout BJP. Raising the slogan, ‘BJP Hatao, AP Bachao’, Sivaji blamed BJP for not keeping the promise it had given during the passing of AP Reorganisation Bill in the parliament.
Sivaji further asked the wives of AP BJP leaders not to feed their husbands as they have ‘ruined the state’ and pushed it into ‘begging stage’. Sivaji also given call to people of the new state to obstruct the visits of Union Ministers and other BJP leaders.
The actor-turned-social activist Sivaji has been strongly echoing his voice for the Special Status for sometime now. Though initially he supported BJP and even joined the party, he distanced from the party knowing that it’d not be living upto its words for the truncated state.
