Blinkit, the online quick-commerce platform, has set up a temporary 100 sq ft store at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj to serve the millions of pilgrims and tourists attending the massive religious gathering. Co-founder and CEO Albinder Dhindsa shared the details of this initiative on X, emphasizing the store’s range of services and delivery capabilities.
Located strategically to cover key areas of the Maha Kumbh Mela, including Arail Tent City, Dome City, ITDC Luxury Camp, and Devrakh, the Blinkit store offers a thoughtfully curated selection of essential items. These include pooja essentials, fresh milk, curd, fruits, and vegetables, available both for personal use and donation purposes.
Additionally, the store provides convenience products such as chargers, power banks, towels, blankets, and bedsheets to meet the diverse needs of the attendees. In keeping with the spiritual significance of the event, Blinkit also stocks Triveni Sangam Jal bottles, offering pilgrims a tangible connection to the sacred confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers.
