Actress Mrunal Thakur has opened up about her past relationship and breakup in a recent interview conducted as part of the promotions for her upcoming Hindi film Da Deewane Shahar Mein. The Sita Ramam actress revealed that her former boyfriend ended their relationship, stating that he found her personality too aggressive and assertive. He reportedly told her that he could not continue being with someone like her and was also uncomfortable with her decision to pursue a career in acting. The identity of her ex-boyfriend remains undisclosed.

Speaking candidly, Mrunal said she felt no sadness or regret about the breakup. On the contrary, she believes it would have been extremely difficult to build a life with someone who could not accept her true self or ambitions. The Hi Nanna and Dacoit actress further shared that staying in such a relationship might have had long-term consequences, especially if children were involved. She felt that growing up with parents who have conflicting mindsets and values could negatively affect a child’s upbringing.
