A bomb threat call created panic early this morning at the residence of popular Tamil actor and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay in Neelankarai, along East Coast Road (ECR), Chennai.
According to police reports, the Chennai Police Control Room received a call around 5:20 a.m., claiming that a bomb had been planted at Vijay’s house. Acting swiftly, the police deployed a bomb disposal squad and a sniffer dog team to the spot. After a thorough hour-long search, no explosives were found, and the call was confirmed to be a hoax.
The Neelankarai Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to trace the caller responsible for the false alarm.
On the professional front, Thalapathy Vijay is currently working on Jana Nayagan. The first glimpse of the film was recently released, creating massive buzz. This action entertainer, co-starring Pooja Hegde, is set to hit theatres on January 9, 2026.
