The Ranga Reddy district has directed the Sarornagar police to register a case against the AP NGO chief Ashok Babu for his act of burning the Telangana draft Bill-AP Reorganization Bill-2013.
The court direction came in the wake of a petition by Telangana advocate Sunkari Janardhan Goud that the AP NGOs act was unconstitutional and undemocratic.
The police have been directed to investigate the case and file a case by February 20.The AP NGOs had given a call for burning the Telangana Bill in the Bhogi bonfire as part of Sankranti festival across the 13 Seemandhra districts.
