Brave move by Cherry!

Usually, star heroes work with star directors. So, is the trend in Tollywood. As it’s the norm, the newbie directors do not get to direct top stars.Unless they have a proven track record of directing a big hit, they are not even considered by top heroes.

But Ram Charan Teja has decided to tread the path less chosen.Charan created a history of sorts by working with Sampat Nandi in Rachcha. Despite his family having reservations, Cherry went ahead and worked with Nandi. Luckily for Nandi, the film was a hit and he is now in reckoning.

Of late, Ram Charan has taken another bold step. He has decided to work with another new director Gopi Ganesh.Ganesh has a film with Sairam Shankar titled Romeo to his credit. He is working on a script that was finalized in association with his mentor Puri Jagannath.

It was sheer coincidence that Ganesh got to meet Ram Charan through K S Rama Rao who has Cherry’s dates. After listening to the story, both Charan and Chiranjeevi liked it and the rest as they say is history.
