Budget 2018 presented by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is dubbed as disappointment by the TDP, the ally of BJP which is partner in NDA. TDP MP Ram Mohan Naidu expressed deep shock, angst over ‘raw deal’ for the successor state of Andhra Pradesh.Ram Mohan Naidu stated that Chandrababu Naidu is the only Chief Minister who traveled to Delhi most of the times and did his best to put pressure on Centre. However, the state has been ‘neglected’ by the Union Government, opined Ram Mohan Naidu.
“Chandrababu Naidu garu was insulted for often traveling to Delhi. But he was unfazed as he was working for the progress of the state. But not bothering anything about new state of Andhra Pradesh is the example of how BJP ignoring AP. As a disciplinary party, we are committed to the alliance dharma. We are waiting for the response of our leader,” said Ram Mohan Naidu who spoke to media in Delhi.
Joining Ram Mohan Naidu, another TDP MP and senior leader JC Diwakar Reddy too opined more or less similar. He further said, “I think BJP is forcing TDP to end its ties on its own. Instead of saying directly, BJP is indirectly sending signals.”Ram Mohan Naidu, however, welcomed a few aspects of Budget that is pro-poor and pro-agrarian community. But, overall, the Budget 2018 is a disappointment to the Telugu states who were expecting high from the Centre.
