Young and dynamic producer Bunny Vasu, a trusted member of the Allu family, is currently managing operations at GA2 Pictures. With his upcoming film Thandel gearing up for its theatrical release, Vasu recently spoke about the growing issue of piracy that has been plaguing Tollywood in recent months.

The conversation turned to the recent piracy incident involving Game Changer, which was leaked on piracy websites just a week after its release. This early leak significantly impacted the film’s box office performance. When asked about this, Vasu expressed his shock, saying, “It’s shocking that even major films are being targeted by piracy websites. There are individuals behind these operations, and they are causing severe harm to the industry.”

Vasu emphasized the need for a proactive approach, calling for direct discussions with the owners of piracy websites to find a viable solution. He acknowledged that while cyber laws and criminal penalties are in place, these website operators seem unaffected. He stressed that it is crucial for producers, along with government authorities, to collaborate and address this issue before it causes further damage.

Vasu’s message was clear: while piracy is an ongoing challenge, it is essential for the industry and the government to come together and find a solution. If this problem is left unchecked, it could continue to harm the theatrical prospects of big-budget films, impacting Tollywood’s future.
