Actor-turned-politician C. Joseph Vijay has once again grabbed attention after declaring assets worth over ₹520 crore while filing his nomination from the Perambur Assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu.
According to his election affidavit, Vijay owns movable assets valued at approximately ₹405 crore and immovable assets worth around ₹115 crore. His movable assets include bank balances, luxury vehicles, gold, and diamond investments.
On the real estate front, Vijay holds properties in key Chennai locations such as Neelankarai, Sholinganallur, and Saligramam.
The affidavit also reveals that his annual income over recent years has ranged between ₹8 crore and ₹237 crore. It further notes that he has extended loans to family members.
With this declaration, Vijay not only stands out as a major political figure but also as one of the wealthiest personalities in Tamil Nadu politics.
