Assam Tea, specially, a variety of Black tea can act as an anti-oxidant that kills Covid-19 virus says Pritom Choudhury, a scientist.
Assam Tea brands are promoting this on social media and showing that Assam is the only state in India with just one Covid-19 patient and Tea can really help patients recover faster, say their ads.

Tea has anti-oxidants that don’t let virus inhibit but we cannot take that into account to counter a pandemic. The scientist too is asking WHO, Indian Medical Organisation to look into his research and confirm it.
As off now, many countries are trying to come up with a plausible vaccine as WHO came up with the gene code of virus, few days ago.
Indian Government has directed all the pharmaceutical companies to come up with a vaccine and test kits as soon as possible and black tea is one area of research.
Many countries are looking at medicinal plants and Ayurvedic methods that can kill the virus and prevent it re-entry into the body of a victim.
Well, we hope scientists will find a plausible vaccine as soon as they can to the issue as the longer it takes to cure the disease, the longer the world economy will be in tethers.
