KTR has said that there is absolute security to the Seemandhras in Hyderabad contrary to malicious propaganda that they would be targeted once the TRS comes to power. “Has there been a single instance of attack on Seemandhras since the TRS has come to power?” asked KTR.
Factually, KTR is correct. But again, it might be in the best interests of the TRS that the safety of the Seemandhras is assured.
For starters, if there were any such incidents, the TDP would immediately start the section 8 issue again. And then, the final frontier for the TRS is the upcoming GHMC elections which would be hugely influenced by Seemandhra voters.
So, what guarantee is there that the TRS would not adopt a different agenda towards Seemandhra people after the GHMC elections, win or lose? After all, it was a party that came to power on the plank of regional hatred.
